Hello. My Grandfather was a ship caulker in Leith, do you know of anywhere that kept records of employees back in the 1930s/40s?
When will be released vol.II ?
Hi, you could try the Boilermakers and shipwrights union, otherwise I donr really know, who would keep such records, if any.
That's a great idea, thank you! He travelled to Gibraltar a few times during WWII. He didn't serve so we're assuming it was something to do with work/ caulking. Hopefully the union has some records.
