A single screw diesel powered cargo ship ordered by the Union Steamship Company of New Zealand. With a gross tonnage of 2007 tons, she was another vessel to ply her trade around the waters of New Zealand.
She had a length B.P. of 250 feet, with a beam of 41 feet and 6 inches and a design draught of 25 feet and 6 inches.
